Right Worshipful Larry Thomas was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on December 7th, 1974. In just over two years, Bro Thomas earned his Gold Card for learning all of the esoteric work of the Blue Lodge. He was elected to Worshipful Master of Santa Rosa #16 in 1980 and was appointed to District Instructor of the First Masonic District by the Grand Lodge of Florida for four consecutive years (1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986). In 1990, Right Worshipful Thomas was appointed Distict Deputy Grand Master for the First Masonic District. He has served as the Zone 1 Chairman for the Committe on Work for 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 to current year. He is a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason (perpetual member) and members of the Hadji Shrine and Zelica Grotto (perpetual Member since 1991).
